Eagle Share Program
Fly high performane multi-engine cabin class aircraft at the cost of a low performance rented trainer.
Currently, the cost of flying a low powered rental aircraft, such as a Cessna 172 or a Piper 160, is between: $100.00 to $150.00 per hour of Hobbs time. If you want to use the rental aircraft for an extended time period, you will be charged not only the actual flying time, but also a minimum daily rate for the time the aircraft is sitting on the ground. Typically, this is 4 to 6 hours of Hobbs time per weekday, and even more on weekends. For example, on a four hour trip over 2 days, the renter would pay between 8 and 12 hours of Hobbs time for 4 hours of flying time.
By joining EagleShare, you would own 25% of a high performance twin engine aircraft at an hourly Hobbs rate similar to the cost of a low performance trainer. More importantly, when the minimum daily charge for the rental aircraft is factored in, the actual cost of flying the trip would be one half that of the low performance trainer.
